We have all had those moments where things have just come together in the most unusual and coincidental way â . Perhaps you decided to make a purchase and the day you walk into the store they are having a sale đ, or a friend pops into your mind a few times and then out of the blue they contact you to share some great news đ. Now of course this also happens the other way at times. Sometimes you make the purchase and then next week it goes on sale and youâve spent extra unnecessarily đ¤, or that friend youâve been thinking about ends up injured or ill đ¤đ¤.
Earlier this year my mum and I made a decision to relocate đ from Sydney to Brisbane to be closer to family. It was something we had thought to do at some point but up until this particular day we had no set timeframe or plan. Out of the blue mum had an epiphany đ§ââď¸ that it was time so we decided to roll with it. Of course when you decide to move interstate there are a whole bunch of logistical issues to overcome like finding somewhere to live đ, applying for rental properties and then waiting for the sometimes arduous process of being declined đ ââď¸over and over until finally you find some abandoned, overgrown shack đ in the middle of murder mountain 𫣠that is willing to accept you. But, we chose to see how we went. We had some criteria, we wanted something to the same standard we were living in or better đ (no overgrown shack), close to the family đ¨âđŠâđ§âđŚ, solar panels âď¸, pet friendly đ and have a home office/clinic space đââď¸đĽ . Now, this decision happened on a Saturday afternoon. That night we started looking at listings, on Monday I applied for 2 properties and on Tuesday I applied for a third and of course we virtually had to give a blood đŠ¸and stool đŠ sample with the application. Wednesday was Australia Day đŚđş so it was a public holiday and of course nothing would be happening with our application and although it is all online and it tells you it has been received đĽ mum still wanted further confirmation, she asked me to contact the listing agents âď¸ just to ensure they had received the application and ask if they could give a timeframe âą for the application to be assessed. I explained to her on the Thursday that I would call them tomorrow to confirm. So Friday morning we got up and started our morning, we were sitting in our study having a discussion đŁ about something and mum then asked me to make the call đ to the agents đŠâđź. Meanwhile she went to the bathroom đ˝. As I picked up my phone my instinct was to quickly check my emails before looking up the phone number for the realestate. So I open my emails đ§ and there in my inbox is an email from the realestate agent approving our application â đđđ. And the story doesnât end there. The house was our first choice đĽ, it has more solar power than we can use đ, its a 5 minute walk to my family đ¨âđŠâđ§âđŚ, its a former display home so was finished to a higher standard so had the nice little luxuries we were accustomed to, had an office/clinic space and welcomed our pets. Within 2 weeks we were moved and the day we arrived mum received a random phone call đą and was offered a lecturing and clinic supervisor position for acupuncture students at the leading Chinese Medicine college in QLD. And within 2 months of us moving the electric car charger from the former sales office was upgraded and was now compatible with our Teslas đ so we can now charge our cars for free. Oh, and its about 5 doors down in our street.
Now there are so many things in this story that I could put down to âcoincidenceâ but I donât believe that is what it was. I believe it was our ability and our discipline in listening to out intuition.
Youâve probably heard of intuition and you may have even heard that some people are intuitive and others arenât. Thatâs is complete Bull Sh*%. We all have intuition, the difference is that some people are more attuned to listen to it than others and some people may be a little fearful of trusting their instincts/vibes/senses/gut/heart or whatever else you might refer to it.
You see the intuition is not a crystal ball đŽ that shows us the future. It is our connection to the Infinite, the ever present energy that we are all a part of. Some refer to it as Source or The Field, I just call it the Universe. It is there to help us make decisions in the now and it is only there to help and guide us to our best outcome and the future that we desire.
Have you ever noticed that there are sometimes new movies đŹ that come out that seem very similar, or a new product is brought to marked that seems revolutionary but strangely enough there are sometimes several others that launch at the same time. Or perhaps even a new invention is created and you think to yourself âI thought about that when I was a kidâ đ¤ or âmy dad made something like that when I was younger, he could have been a millionaire!â Thatâs because we are all connected to this universe and sometimes there are people who tap into an idea and those that are listening and are willing to take action on that voice are the ones that bring those products to market rather than leaving them as a passing idea đĄ.
This brings me to WEIRD. Weird as a word meaning supernatural or other worldly. No you are not an alien (well I guess you would be to other aliens đ˝) but you are connected to another world, an unseen word, an energy world. So we have the physical world that we live in and operate in but we are also connected to this invisible energy world. This is where our intuition gets its messages or vibrations from. Sometimes those vibrations are for now and sometimes they are for next week or next month or even next year đ. We experience these vibrations is different ways, we might hear that voice saying đŁâmaybe now isnât the right time to pursue thatâ or it might be a feeling in our heart â¤ď¸ or gut đŚ. We might get tingles or even a physical vibration đł in parts of our bodies.
So we are weird, we are out of this world đŞđ°â¨. The question is, are you listening to the vibes, or your gut? Are you paying attention or are you pushing it away worried that you might look or sound strange? I welcome you to start and just pay a little more attention to what your gut or instincts are telling you and how they are guiding you. As I stated before, your intuition is there to guide you, inform you and help you move towards the life you want. It is your superpower if you allow it.
